Registration Limitations:
This race is limited to 200 bikes, whether through relay or individual participants.  We can only accomodate room for 200 bikes on the current racks that we have available to us.  Don't wait too long to register, as this event does fill up fast!

Deadlines:
Early registration deadline is August 10, 2012

• There will be NO race day registration. 
• The last day to register for the race will be on Thursday, August 30, 2012.
• If you are registered by August 10 you are guaranteed a shirt for the race, otherwise shirts will be distributed on a first come first serve basis at packet pick up until all shirts have been issued.  No second order will be made for the shirts!

Entry Fees:

Individuals - Early Registration (by Aug. 10) - $40.00,
                     Late Registration- (received August 11 through August 30) - $50.00
Relay Teams - Early Registration (By Aug. 10) - $80.00
                      Late Registration - (received August 11 - August 30) - $100.00
       
        * There is a $5.00 discount for Tarpon Swim team members (If participating on a relay it is per swim team member).  If you register online, you will need to contact me to get the proper discount code!

Packet Pick-up:
Early packet pick up date & time have not yet been determined.  Race day pick up will be from 6:00 am - 7:00 am.

Timing chip pick-up/drop off:

The chips for timing will be issued at a separate location from the packet pick-up spot on race day.  All participants must have a chip on to race (relay teams will be issued one chip and must hand off their chip from one person to the next in the transition area).  We will not begin handing out chips until 7:00 am, and all chips must be picked up by 7:15.  You must have your paper bib number with you to pick up your timing chip.  You are not allowed to pick up timing chips for any other participants.  An announcement will be made when we begin issuing chips to participants. 

At the finish line there will be a place to drop off your race chip after you complete the race.  If your chip is not returned, you will be charged for the replacement of that timing chip. 

Cancellation policy:
The race will occur rain or shine, unless the race director deems the conditions unsafe for the participants.  The start time of the race may change based on weather that day.  If the race is canceled for any reason, there is no refund, as the proceeds of the race benefit a non-profit organization. 

• Once we receive payment for your spot in the race, there are no refunds.  If you are unable to make the race, & you paid directly to us, you may sell your entry spot to someone else who may want to participate in the race until 3 pm on 8/30/12 for whatever you paid for your spot. You will be responsible for handling the monetary transactions yourself and for getting the updated information to us no later than 3pm on 8/30/12.  If you register online through imathlete, you can cancel your registration and will be issued a comp code for 50% of your registration fee which you can apply towards next year's race.  There are date restrictions for when you must cancel online by, so see imathlete for full details.
